Our Commitment

HALAL POLICY

  1. Ensure that the PJFI factory premises comply with the Malaysian Halal Standard MS 1500, the Malaysian Halal Certification Procedure Manual (MPPHM), the Malaysian Halal Management System, the Food Act 1983, and the Food Regulations 1985.
  2. Ensure that any changes in the purchase or substitution of raw materials are reported to the Halal Management Division, Sarawak Islamic Council.
  3. Ensure that the Mee Kuning and Kuey Teow products at the premises are safe and certified HALAL by the Sarawak Islamic Council.
  4. Ensure that all raw materials (including processing aids) acquired are compliant with halal standards.
  5. Ensure that all processes involved in the production of Mee Kuning/Kuey Teow at the premises are free from non-halal substances and impurities.
  6. All employees are required to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and sanitation discipline to ensure the products meet customer satisfaction.

PJFI received MeSTI certification on 27 March 2025 (Certificate Number: ME 0824115-0/1) from the Food Safety and Quality Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia—the national authority responsible for ensuring food safety for both domestic and global markets.
